"The Dark Side" of my Life!

Here I am, once again. It's now 3 months since my 5 by-pass open heart surgery and there are no rings on my fingers and & definitely no bells on my toes. I call out, quite loudly--"What's it all about Alfie?" And you know what?--he actually answers me with the following:

"Life is hardly ever a beach".

"Yes, there is a silver lining but it is quite thin and breaks easily".

"It's true, life can be a bowl of cherries, however it's the pits that we are left with".

Btw, the light at the end of the tunnel has been blown out".

"There aren't always candles to light up the dark".

"The glass is half-empty most of the time" and

"Life does truly suck a lot of the time!"

Sadly these are all true and I think you would agree.
What is going on you ask??? Is this negative attitude actually emanating from the always upbeat, happy, and funny me?---Yep, it sure is!!!
Now you ask, "what could possibly do this to me?"
Well, after a year of developing gastro problems, a burst appendix, 2 stents inserted into an artery, a heart attack, and even 5 by-pass open heart surgery I have remained upbeat, happy, and funny. I have been positive and forward moving all along---but, alas I seem to have picked up"the straw that broke the camel's back"-- I am hurting from gall bladder issues and to tell you the truth---this on top of everything else truly "SUCKS" big time---ENUFF IS ENUFF I say!!!

Wow, I must say that I feel so much better now---Venting is really quite theraputic---well, back to using my sense of humor for coping with whatever is thrown at me...

"Seeing Is Believing"---"Or Is It?" Part 2

It's 9 weeks since my open heart surgery and I'm back in the saddle again. I'm not very comfortable yet but I'm working on it.
So, now I'm back at my blog to share some more amazing work by Julian Beever with you once again.

Chalk Art and Julian Beever Revisited;

Way back in August I blogged about Julian Beever, a fabulously unique and talented English artist who has become quite famous for his anamorphic art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, Belgium, Australia, and here in the US. Beever gives an amazing illusion to his drawings, so that the objects appear to be three dimensional rather than flat as they actually are.

Take a good look at some really awesome and unbelievable drawings by Julian Beever:
